Software correction to charge measurements
Several methods have been
developed in the last years to improve the hadronic energy resolution by
means of software corrections.
Following the CDHS collaboration
prescription, the corrected total charge Qcor can
be defined as
| Qcor = sum [Qi x ( 1 - K x Qi )] |
where K has to be evaluated from data, by minimizing sigma(Qcor ) / Qcor .
In figure, the hadronic energy
resolution curve, after the weighting corrections, is shown.
